Considered one of Spain's most impressive waterfalls, the Cascada del Diablo (Devil's Waterfall) is in the Garganta de Gualtaminos, just 1km. outside Villanueva de la Vera. The best time to visit it is during the thawing period in spring, or in the autumn or winter after a heavy rainstorm.
