Living La Vera is a private platform that was launched in 2021 in order to promote sustainable and high-quality tourism in the La Vera de Gredos region. For our purposes, we have included the whole geographical area from Plasencia in the west to Candeleda and Poyales del Hoyo in the east, covering the provinces of Caceres, Avila and Toledo, and which shares a characteristic landscape, climate, vegetation and architecture.

In the Living La Vera Magazine you will have an opportunity to learn more about the region’s splendid nature, its history and culture. You will be able to get to know some if its most exceptional inhabitants, and discover its most outstanding ecological and artisan products.
In the Agenda we inform you about the most interesting activities programmed in the region, from traditional local fiestas to guided tours and local markets.
Living La Vera arises from the initiative of a group of adopted “Veratos”, who have been living in the area for 20 years or more and have a background in tourism, journalism and cultural management, and are of course great lovers of La Vera de Gredos!
