Review Living La Vera

Valverde de la Vera, chosen one of Spain's most beautiful villages in 2020, was declared a protected heritage site in 1970. Built in the traditional La Vera architecture, the buildings are well preserved. Between them, water flows though the stoney streets thanks to the “regateras” canals, which help keeping the village clean and distributing irrigation water for the orchards.
