Review Living La Vera

The museum explains the ancient local tradition of Los Empalaos, a barefoot Easter procession of local individuals through the streets of Valverde de la Vera with a wooden cross tied to their backs and wearing a traditional costume. The museum is located in a traditional village home that was refurbished conserving its original exterior. Inside you can become familair with the rituals around Los Empalaos, which have been declared of tourist de interest by the Extremadura government.
